Tiered Intervention

Problem-solving teams use data from universal screeners as well as additional diagnostic and classroom level data to develop and implement evidence-based interventions. School teams meet frequently to monitor the progress of students within interventions.

Parents receive notification from the school when a student enters interventions, when there are changes to their child’s plan, and receive progress updates throughout the intervention process. The purpose of the communication is to inform the parent about concerns and the plan to support their child’s learning.

If a parent has questions about their child’s plan they should contact the MTSS Leads at their child’s school.
