Seeing Blue—Kentucky Accountability (KSA) Results
Oldham County School District is proud to announce exceptional progress in our state testing (KSA) results, reflecting the dedicated implementation of our strategic plan and our ongoing commitment to educational excellence.
Key highlights include:
1. Historic District Achievement: Oldham County Schools achieved incredible success with 11 of our 16 accountability schools earning "Blue" status—the highest rating possible—nearly tripling our Blue-rated schools from 4 last year. This represents a key milestone in our district's history.
2. Widespread Growth Across Schools: Nine schools demonstrated significant improvement by growing or changing performance levels this year, showcasing the collective effort of our educators and students.
3. Continued High School Excellence: Our high schools maintain strong graduation rates and post-secondary readiness scores, ensuring our students are well-prepared for their future educational and career paths.
4. Large Increases in Reading at Every Level - a 5.4 point increase at elementary and more than an 8 point increase at middle and high. High school also saw a huge increase in math - up 8.2 points.
“These achievements reflect the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and the support of the Oldham County community,” said Superintendent Claudette Herald. “We are excited to build on this momentum as we continue advancing our strategic priorities.”
