NOMS Students Win Hamilton Education Program Contest

Three NOMS 6th graders got the surprise of their lives when they found out that they won National Outstanding Performance in The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, Hamilton Education Program contest. In May, Seth Pease, Emma Jane Lopes, and Emma Presley (moved out of state) will go on an all-expense paid trip to NYC where they will see Hamilton on Broadway, meet the cast, and visit historic sites.

The Hamilton Education Program supports students grades 6-12 with the goal to find relevance in the founding era through primary documents. This group of 6th graders is just the 5th team of 6th graders to ever be named Outstanding Performance Winners.
