Care Solace Partnership

Care Solace Partnership

To expand on existing school resources and close the gap in mental health services, OCS has partnered with the Oldham County Health Department and the Oldham County Fiscal Court to offer Care Solace. Care Solace provides an anonymous and confidential pathway for OCS students, families, faculty, and staff to connect with mental health services. This program is voluntary, and completely paid for with grants through Oldham County Fiscal Court and OCHD.

There is no cost for using this resource and it is accessible immediately for all OCS families and staff members who wish to utilize it.

The goal of Care Solace is to ensure communities can access reliable, ethical and high-quality mental health care services – no matter the circumstances. The Care Solace team are experts in navigating insurance for families and getting around the long wait times to secure an intake appointment. They can shrink the wait times from 3 months or longer to around 72 hours.

  • Students, students' families, faculty and staff, and their families can anonymously and confidentially seek mental health care using a web-based system (Care Match) and get connected with a qualified, licensed mental health care professional

  • The custom URL created for our district will connect users to support available 24/7, including holidays and breaks

  • 200+ languages are spoken with live translators available

  • Care regardless of insurance: private, Medicare, sliding scale, even no coverage
