Each primary Ballet/Tap class will not only introduce proper ballet and tap technique, but also build upon the terminology, and further the student’s dance education. Placement into each class is based on dance experience and age. Students will be placed in one of the following: Ballet/Tap 5/6, Ballet/Tap 7/8, Ballet/Tap 9-10.
Students who have several years of dance training will be placed in a more advanced level to continue to increase his/her knowledge of dance and begin to incorporate jazz technique. These classes are typically 90 minutes and have a different class rate than the Primary Ballet/Tap classes. More advanced students can be placed in the following courses: Pre-As, A1s, or A2s. Teen Jazz.
Class Placement will take place at the Open House on Friday, September 1st, from 4:30-7pm.
