The Oldham County School district is offering a PE course, Fit for Life, to give students more flexibility in their schedules during their high school years as well as learning to be “fit for life”.
The course requires the student to be self-disciplined as well as have the ability to work independently. Attendance is a critical element of FFL.
What is FIT for LIFE?
The Fit for Life course is a performance-based PE class that requires the student attend the following sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at either NOHS, OCHS, or SOHS. (Students will typically attend at the high school they will attend.)

Why take it?
If taken, it allows students more flexibility to schedule courses during the regular school year.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will earn the required physical education graduation ½ credit. In addition, all students will take the online health class to receive the other ½ credit for health.
Cost?
$120 due once accepted into the course and is non-refundable after June 1st.
Also, all students enrolled in the course will be required to have and use a Fitbit fitness tracker (can be provided at no cost if needed).
How do I apply?
- Fill out the correct Google form:
- Once your child has been entered into that form and accepted, Mr. Percefull will email you the necessary forms to register. All class spots are first come, first served as those forms are time stamped. All classes are capped at 30 students, all students above that number will go on the waiting list or may be moved to another campus.
- Submit all forms, fees and contract by March 29th, 2024 to Joe Percefull at the address listed below. All checks should be written to OLDHAM COUNTY SCHOOLS.
