The Sponsor believes that we need to create and support health promoting learning environments throughout our agency, giving students the opportunity to achieve success.
The health and safety of students is a priority consideration in all Oldham County School District’s decisions. We are committed to providing educational environments that promote and protect student health, well-being, and ability to learn by supporting healthy eating and physical activity.
To the maximum extent practicable, Oldham County Schools participates in available federal school meal programs including:
National School Breakfast & Lunch (NSBLP)
Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)
Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
Seamless Summer Option (SSO)
All school meals will meet or exceed current nutrition requirements established by local, state, and Federal statutes and regulations USDA nutrition standards.
