OCS Coding Resources

Computer Science Education Week will be celebrated each year in December. Computer Science Education Week is an annual program created to inspire K-12 students to take interest in computer science. It is held in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper who was an American computer scientist and United States Navy admiral. She was one of the first programmers of the Harvard Mark I computer. She was an amazing woman!
The Hour of Code™  started in 2013 as a one-hour introduction to computer science to show that anybody can learn the basics of coding and to raise awareness and participation in the field of computer science. It is now a worldwide effort that is supported by over 400 corporate partners and 200,000 educators!
