Kathie Davis, Youth Theatre Artistic Program Director for the Arts Center.
Kathie has been involved in the performing arts for over 30 years, inspired by her involvement in Elyria High School's music and theatre departments in Ohio where she grew up.
She and Trina Jackson began to build a sustainable, growth-oriented theatre program in 2009-2010 at OCSAC with about 60 students. Now, over 600 students are involved in the program yearly along with a large community of adults who participate in the summer community productions. She has been involved in community/semi-professional theaters such as Jewish Community Center, Music Theatre Louisville, and Who Dunnit Mystery Theater on the local level, is on the board for the Louisville Youth Choir, and taught private voice for many years.
Kathie is currently serving as the artistic program director for the center but was also an integral part of the creation of CAPAA - our Creative and Performing Arts Academy program which opened to students in the Fall of 2020. She has been married to Danny for 37 years and has three sons, three daughter-in-laws, and five grandchildren under the age of 4. She is also a certified Enneagram coach.
