We have recently changed our pickup procedure for the dances, and since it was so successful, it will be used at all of our dances. Therefore, please follow these guidelines for drop off and pick up:  Drop off for the dance will be at the front of the building just like normal, at 7pm. For pick up, we are going to dismiss 6th graders at the front of the building, and 7th and 8th graders out of the entrance at the back of the building by the bus dock (the door we use for ball games).  For a map showing this, please click here.   If you are picking up students in multiple grade levels, students should be picked up at the oldest child’s grade level spot. Students must be picked up by an adult.

For 7th and 8th grade:  Sponsored by the district GATES program and OCEF, Oldham County Summer Scholars (OCSS) is a competitive academic program where students are selected to participate in a pre-college level class. Once selected, the student will explore an Intensive area of study as well as delve into an Exploratory area of study.  Taught by our top instructors from across the district's schools, OCSS promises to be an exciting opportunity for those students who want to grow and learn.

For 8th grade only:  Foreign Language, AP courses, college classes…….Need more space in your high school program to take all the courses you are interested in taking?   One solution might be to take a course in a non-traditional setting.  Want to view physical activity as more than something you do for half a year?  The Oldham County School district is offering a PE course, Fit for Life, to give students more flexibility in their schedules during their high school years as well as learning to “be fit for life”.   For more information and to download the forms, visit the district website at
