5/30 – Athletic Boosters Fundraiser with Ford from 10AM-4PM (SOHS Front Parking Lot)
FCA News: FCA will meet every Wednesday at 8:05 in the GYM.
Athletic Boosters Fundraiser: 10 minutes, drive a new Ford vehicle, earn $10 for your favorite team! The SOHS Athletic Boosters is hosting Drive One 4UR School on Saturday, May 30, 10am-4pm, in the SOHS front parking lot. We need everyone's help to earn the maximum $6000. Must be 18 or older with a valid drivers license; those in the same household need to use separate addresses. Boys Golf: Any students interested in being a part of the SOHS Boys Golf Team for the upcoming 2015 season are invited to an informational Player/Parent Meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:30pm in the Cafeteria.
SENIORS: your caps and gowns are here at the school. You will receive yours on the 12th of June. Also please note that if you have any unserved detention hours you will not be allowed to participate in the senior activities the last week of school.
Summer School Information: If you are failing a class(es) please check the attached information regarding summer school attached.
Seniors: Please complete the attached scholarship worksheet and return to Mrs. Jaggers in Guidance by May 29th. This needs to be completed in order to keep a tally of all scholarships awarded to our SOHS Seniors. This list should include any scholarship that has been offered to you – even the ones you are not going to accept. The information that is shared on this form will be used to get a total number of scholarship dollars offered to the graduating class and will be announced at the commencement ceremony. Individual totals will not be seen by anyone except Mrs. Jaggers. The scholarships that are accepted by our graduates will be announced as they receive their diploma but dollar amounts will not be announced.
Attention Beta Club Students: Crestwood Elementary needs volunteers for their Spring Picnic on Friday May 29 from 6:15 – 8:45. Please sign up on the Beta Club bulletin board. See Mrs. Carr if you have questions.
School Medication Announcement: The end of the year is approaching quickly. If your student has medication with the school nurse please read the attached flier on directions what to do to claim those.

We're a quick, efficient team that improves lives, participates in spirit and leadership, PLUS it all looks good on those college applications. Applications due to Mrs. Kruszynski by May 29th!
Parking News: All students who park on campus must have a parking permit, park only in a parking spot (not on the grass or concrete slab by band tower), and not in the visitor’s row. The parking lot will be checked regularly, and if you are parked without a permit or in an area that is not designated for student parking you will be towed or booted.

Electronic Device Reminder: Please leave your Nintendo devices at home. Using them at school causes the wireless network to fail.
ESS schedule: Tuesday – English and Science; Wednesday – Math; Thursday – English, Math, and Social Studies. Foreign language must be scheduled with the teacher.
College Visit Policy: ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS & PARENTS: If you are planning on using a college visit please remember that you need to submit a request in writing from a parent/guardian to the attendance office no later than a week prior to the first day of absence. Juniors you are allowed 1 college visit and seniors you are allowed 2 college visits. If you do not submit your request to the attendance office a week prior to the first day of absence you not be eligible to use your allocated College Visit days. Also remember that College Visitation Policy follows the same as the OCBE Vacation Policy which may not be used before or after an extended break such as three-day weekends and holiday breaks.
