South Oldham Community, The 2010-2011 school year was a very positive one for South Oldham, resulting in many educational awards. In addition to ranking 6th in the state on ACT composite and state testing, we also enjoyed the following academic honors:
These honors don’t come without much hard work from parents, students, and teachers. South Oldham is blessed to have so many parents who are willing to give of their time and money to enrich the entire school, not just their own child. It is not unusual to see parents dropping off goodies for the staff, chaperoning field trips, working in the flower beds, collecting money during a ballgame, transporting band instruments, working the concession stand, judging a competition, working a fundraiser/event, decorating a hallway, or selling spirit wear. The list could go on and on, but the bottom line is that students and staff benefit greatly from the collective hours put into our school by parents |
