The PTSA has moved the administrative part of our OCHS annual scholarship program to the Oldham County Dollars for Scholars (OCDFS). OCDFS is a community based scholarship foundation that provides financial assistance to graduating seniors in Oldham County. It will be easier to apply not only for our two scholarships (Academic Excellence Award and Colonel Award), but for other scholarships available through OCDFS. There are over 40 sponsors with scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000. By submitting one application, students can apply for multiple scholarships. This year’s OCDFS scholarship application will go online February 1st at www.ocdfs.org. All applications much be postmarked by March 1st. There is no cost to applicants for this program!
You can also find OCDFS on Facebook. The Facebook Group is new for OCDFS and is an excellent way to stay informed of scholarship information and deadlines.
