The OCHS vs. NOHS varsity football game will be played at NOHS as scheduled, this Friday, August 29, with a start time of 7:30pm.
Directions for connecting to wireless for personal devices: First connect to PODNet in your wireless settings. Open your browser and navigate to any website. You will be prompted to register. When you register your personal device on the wireless network (PODNet), please use your network account, not guest. Usually your network username is your first initial, middle initial, and last name. The password is the same one you use to get on the computers here at school. If you need help, please see us in the library.
Students need to be picked up/dropped off behind the school on Loop Road, accessible from both highway 393, and highway 146. Students cannot be dropped off or picked up in front of the main office before 8:30 in the morning or before 4:00 in the afternoon.
Effective for the 2014-2015 school year, OCHS will require all visitors to present and leave a valid photo I.D. in the main office. Upon checkout, your ID will be returned.
Additionally, anyone picking a student up for dismissal will need to present a photo I.D.
This policy will help us better track visitors and vendors in the building helping to make OCHS a safer place for all students, staff and families. As always, we appreciate your support!
If you signed up for the Practice ACT during registration… Remember!!! The Practice ACT is Saturday August 23rd from 8:30-12:15 in the Oldham County High School Cafeteria. Students should bring two #2 pencils and a calculator for the math portion of the test.
The OCHS PTSA would like to welcome all of our new freshman families as well as our returning students and families! We are excited about the opportunities this new academic year will hold! It was wonderful to see and talk with so many of you during registration last week.

The district’s College & Career Night programs are sponsored by all three high schools’ PTSA’s. South Oldham High School will host the 2014-15 sessions. Welcome back to school, parents! We are excited about our partnership with Operation: PARENT and I would like to encourage you to attend one of their classes or speaker events this fall. It's a great way to meet other parents and raise your awareness on issues that often catch parents off guard. Any parent of a 4th-12th grade student can benefit from the information. All classes and speaker events are being held on the Oldham County High School campus. If fees are a problem, scholarship funds are available.
