SCIENCE CLUB will meet Tuesday, 23 March 2010, after school, in Mrs. Oliver’s room. Science Club will be hosting its monthly Movie Night. We will be watching Mystery Science Theater 3000: the Movie. Bring food to share.
The NCAA tournament started yesterday! Show your superior brain power and knowledge of this year’s teams by participating in the libraries NCAA Geography Contest. Pick up the question sheet in the library. Answer 100% of the questions correctly to win a prize. Answer submission must be returned to the library by Monday at 3:30.

YEARBOOKS WILL BE ON SALE ALL NEXT WEEK DURING LUNCH IN THE CONCESSION STAND. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY A YEARBOOK, THE COST IS $60.00 IF YOU STILL OWE FOR YOUR PARTIAL PAYMENT, IT IS DUE NOW.
All returning OC students: Your class schedule cards for next year are due April 1. Be sure to get all the needed signatures prior to submitting your card to guidance.

Seniors: The last day to buy your ticket to prom is quickly approaching! Prom will be at a new location this year and should be a truly elegant evening. Buy your senior badges, which includes your prom ticket, by March 26th to join in the fun!! Date tickets will be sold the week right before Spring Break. Badge fees will increase to $120 starting March 29th.
The junior class officers would like to thank all the juniors who have helped raise money for their senior year through the magazine sale. 10 juniors earned the privilege to released one hour early today. These juniors need to turn in their completed permission immediately to Mrs. Templet to leave school at 2:30 today.
Juniors: Today is the last day to turn in magazine orders and collect some candy. Please turn in all orders during lunch at the concession stand.
The guest list is typed and ready. The music has been requested. Now we just have to wait until tomorrow night for the Junior Dance at the Frazier Museum.
Please do not arrive much earlier then 8 p.m. at the Frazier Museum. Also, the dance will end promptly at midnight, be sure your transportation home is there on time for pick up.
Dance pictures package information and driving direction to Frazier Museum are available in the front office or on room 167 door. Remember parking is free at the museum.
You could pick up some cash at the dance. Just head over to the DJ’s facebook to get registered for the drawing. Click on the link at the bottom of the daily announcements on the school website.
In sports today:
Spring sports are gearing to get their season going this week.
Baseball and softball will opening their seasons next Monday. The Freshman Lady Colonels will be at home against Ballard.
Tennis kicks off play next Tuesday.
