This course is a survey course of European History. Beginning with the Middle Ages and ending with an examination of the continent’s current status in the world. AP Euro provides students with a broad knowledge of the events, people, and issues that have influenced the entire world. At the same time, students practice the skills of historical inquiry and analysis by investigating primary sources and evaluating the work of various schools of historical thought. The course of study includes topics found from the 1300s to the present.

About Mr. Gabehart:
Mr. Gabehart is completing his 11th year in education and has taught 3 AP courses and a variety of Honors level courses. He earned his BA in History and minor in Sociology, and his Masters in the Art of Teaching from the University of Louisville. He has completed 3 AP seminars and has extensive experience teaching numerous diverse subjects including World History, US History, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, and Political Science. Mr. Gabehart combines his previous career in business and coaching experiences with his teaching experiences to incorporate real-life experiences that give students a multitude of perspectives.
