Harmony Elementary School is located in Oldham County, just outside Louisville, Kentucky. It is one of seven elementary schools in the Oldham County school district. Harmony is located on the North Oldham Campus adjacent to North Oldham Middle School and North Oldham High School.
In its third year, Harmony Elementary is living by its mission statement and "Setting the Standard for Excellence." The school has earned the Energy Star Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the US Department of Energy (DOE) honoring organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment. In addition, the school's principal, Tracey Harris, was awarded the 2006 Kentucky PTA Outstanding Educator Award. |

The Oldham County School District will have six early release days during the 2009-2010 school year. On the following dates, Harmony students will dismiss at 12:25 PM.

Gifted and Talented Educational Services
|
| On November 5th, the district Gifted and Talented Educational Services (GATES) staff will host a parent information night. The agenda will include a short update on GATES by district staff and a presentation by Ms. Linda Allen entitled, “What is Differentiated Instruction and How Can Parents Help with DI in the Classroom”. Following Ms. Allen’s presentation, district GATES Resource Teachers Janet Fraser and Jackie Howell will host separate break-out sessions for elementary and secondary parents to discuss differentiation strategies.
